Peter Demek / STATUS

Na základě dlouholeté práce a perfektní znalosti materiálu vytváří Peter Demek (1980) objekty fungující ve vztahu jednotka, kontext a jejich následná manipulace v čase. V procesu hledání ideálních forem je určitý motiv – forma abstrahován v záblesku intuice ze splynutosti okolního světa, zhmotněn s důrazem na fyzické vlastnosti materiálu, vržen do prostředí – nutné přítomnosti nosiče a manipulován performativní akcí – jednorázovou proměnou nebo mechanickým pohybem v čase. Celý proces je zpřítomňováním ideální formy, která je vždy jaksi za viditelným, a to prostřednictvím jejího vyrýsování nebo naopak vplynutí. Autor představí sérii nových prací, které budou aktivovány ve výstavním prostoru během vernisáže.

PETER DEMEK / STATUS

Based on many years of work and perfect knowledge of the material Peter Demek (1980) creates objects functioning in the relationship object, context, and their subsequent manipulation in time. In the process of searching the ideal forms is a specific motive – a form – abstracted in a flash of intuition from the coalescence of the outside world, materialised with an emphasis on the physical characteristics of the material, thrown to the environment – the necessity of a carrier and manipulated by a performance action – a onetime variable or a mechanical movement in time. The whole process is about making present the ideal form, which is always somewhat behind the visible and that is by its forming, or vice versa plunging. The author presents a series of new works that will be activated in the exhibition area during the vernissage.
